Compete with people all around the world in Daily tournaments and challenge people in the 1vs1 mode! Fine-tune your racing lines to achieve the best possible time, and make your way up the Leagues!
In the Daily Track game mode the track changes every 24 hours. Everybody in the world are playing the same track at any given time.
In the 1vs1 game mode a new track is generated for every game.
The game has plenty of different themes and an infinite amount of unique tracks because of the (quite amazing) track generator.
You can use tickets for various things in the game, such as entering different game modes and viewing replays.
In the Daily Track game mode, a single ticket will give you 5 minutes of play time. In the 1vs1 game mode, a single ticket will provide one full game.
New tickets generate over time once you go below a certain amount, and you can get more by purchasing Ticket packs, or by watching a video in Tickets menu.
There are 6 Leagues in the Daily Track game mode: Wood, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Everyone starts in the Wood League. You can advance to the next League by ranking high enough in your Division.
Every League is split in an undefined amount of Divisions. The amount of Divisions depends on the amount of total active players. Each Division contains a maximum of 30 players.
Every player has their own "trophy rating" (or "ELO") to keep track of their own advancement and skill level in the game. You will gain or lose trophies every time you complete a 1vs1 game, and once the daily tournament ends. If you beat a player with much higher trophy count, you will win more trophies, and vice versa.
Start line:
- If there's a hard turn at the start, hold down turn while restarting to start turning as soon as you reset
- Usually it is better to let your boost fully charge before using it
General:
- Minimize the amount of turning, as turning will slow you down
- Release boost on hard turns or high bounces
- Try and land smoothly, and stay on the ground as much as possible
- When jumping high, boosting while descending is usually better than when ascending
Boost powerups:
- Try to always go into a boost powerup at full speed
- A lot of times hitting the boost powerup with the back or side of the ship can be optimal
Skips/Shortcuts (going off the track to get reset to another part of the track):
- Try to reach the potential reset spot as accurately as possible
- Skipping parts without getting reset is usually better than doing it with a reset, since it will reset your velocity
- The "reset timer" can be zeroed by going over objects, such as cliff ledges etc.
Finish line:
- Make sure your boost is fully used up right before the finish
- Sometimes one side of the finish line can be closer than the other
